Welfare
South Downs Trojan Swimming Club is a registered swimming club under the auspices of Swim England, the National Governing Body for aquatic sport in England. As such, the club has a responsibility to comply with Wavepower Safeguarding Policy, the welfare policy and guidelines laid out by Swim England.
All members of the club will be asked to read and sign the club Code of Conduct. Not only is this a requirement placed on us by Swim England, it’s also really important to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all members. We train in public leisure centres and school facilities, which means we need to behave appropriately. Our intent is that everyone feels welcome, supported and included as part of the team..
